The Session is charged with maintaining the spiritual government of our church and consists of the Senior Pastor, Associate Pastors, and Ruling Elders who are elected by church members. Elders carry out their responsibilities through membership and service on one or more of the following Session committees: Ministry Support, Worship, Community (which includes the Formation & Care committees), and Missions.
The office of Deacon is one of sympathy and service, after the example of our Savior; it expresses also the communion of saints, especially in their helping of one another in time of need. The Deacons are organized as a Board, called the Diaconate, and includes the following committees: Facilities, Ministry, Local Missions, Service, and Stewardship.
The Board of Women is the lay leadership group created to represent and respond to the needs of our congregation’s women and to come alongside our women in all of their ministry roles within our church.
