Sundays, prior to the 9am (McLean) or 10:45am (Fairfax, McLean) service — Quarterly
Serve our congregation by helping to prepare the elements of Communion on the first Sunday of the month. Under the direction of one of our deacons, you’ll arrange the elements on the plates and place the plates in the worship service location.

This is a great way for families to serve together; children who are able to help are encouraged to participate alongside their parents!

Time Commitment: Quarterly
Volunteers serve one Sunday a quarter, prior to one of the service times. Morning prep teams may also help with post-service Communion clean-up:

  • 9am service team (3–4 people): Meet at 7:15am, prep completed before 9am service.
  • 10:45am service team (3–4 people): Meet at 10:30am to replenish the elements before the 10:45am service. After the service, help with Communion clean-up until about 1pm.
