Each summer we travel to Scotland and Appalachia to share the love of Jesus as we serve our neighbors at home and abroad.

Scotland

A group of our students (seen in the photo above) returned from Scotland after serving alongside our mission partner, Young Life Scotland, by leading day camps and sharing the gospel with the local teens. Praise the Lord for safe travels and pray for a lasting gospel impact on the youth in Scotland and our students.

West Virginia Family Mission Trip

Several of our church members partnered with a church plant in West Virginia to aid their influence and impact on the local community. Through various construction projects, vacation bible schools, and other mercy ministries the team grew deeper in friendship, formed relationships with residents, and learned more about God’s heart for his care and mercy in the world. Please join us in praying for the outcome of this trip to stand as a good foundation for continued partnership with our local partner in West Virginia.

Students are always encouraged to find a way to serve here at our church. Whether it’s ushering on Sundays, volunteering in the nursery, or helping out at Vacation Bible School during the summer, students are capable to serve!

Capital Service Days

Capital Service Days are recurring day-trips for students to serve with Capital Pres Family’s local mission partners. Our hope is for students to be a part of our greater churchwide effort to build deeper, long-standing relationships with our mission partners and provide lasting impact for our neighbors in need in the DMV.
